The challenge was to create a ten-foot centerpiece that felt weightless despite being crafted from over 300lbs of solid Black Walnut. By utilizing tapered edges and hidden steel reinforcements, we achieved a silhouette that honors the mass of the wood while maintaining an elegant, floating profile.
